Fractal Woman thinks of herself thinking of herself...She finds herself in a pastoral landscape of slick vector graphics and naively waddles into the clutches of hypnotic-capitalist dragons and Russian doll-power-tie-businessmen. Using the written word and children's book presentation this piece articulates the behaviour of reading the visual medium. It examines hypnotic advertising and gender stereotypes, from the aggressive mechanical man, to the headless consumable female body. Eventually Fractal Woman looks down on these structures from the cold impassivity of space and understands infinity...
