College students Maddie, Trish and Chad are inseparable. Maddie is an aspiring concert cellist, who finds inspiration in her work through her fascination with whales. Trish is a PhD student dreaming of a future as a scientist, who side hustles in social media influencing, never feeling financially secure. But tragedy strikes when Chad dies protecting Maddie during a robbery and Maddie’s hearing is damaged.
