The Screen Guide

A dramatic personal account of one man's adventure sailing around the world. Don McIntyre enters the BOC Challenge single-handed round the world yacht race. Deep in the Southern Ocean the yacht suffered a knockdown. All these incredibly scary moments are captured on film. The program shows the highs and lows of McIntyre's 153-day, 28,000 mile voyage. These include skimming along the crest of the waves at 30 knots, being washed overboard, a near collision with a passing ship and many icebergs.
