The Screen Guide

A tribute to the late, great Ngarandjerri singer and songwriter Ruby Hunter featuring archival interviews with Ruby and her life partner, Archie Roach, and many of the songs that made them both famous. It tells the story of her life and career from institutionalised stolen child, to living on the streets, meeting Archie and developing a national and international musical career. This precious woman passed away aged just 54, but this tribute reminds us that she left a great legacy of songs, stories and inspiration.
