But it remains a vibrant, tight-knit community with a unique sense of place. A lifestyle that has all but disappeared elsewhere in Western Australia But it’s not all sunshine and rainbows. Since 1987 Wedge has been under constant threat of being demolished by the state government and the community tell of their fight to save their unique community
