The Screen Guide

In an under-resourced, regional sexual health clinic, Sarah struggles to stay on top, as the leading sexual health nurse. With a string of failed relationships under her belt and an ‘it’s complicated’ relationship status on Facebook, all she has to look forward to is other people’s not-so-happy private parts all day. Jackie, another sexual health nurse and Karen, a gender-fluid receptionist, also struggle with their own complicated and flaccid love lives. Then there’s Greg, the lonely clinic cleaner, and Mullen, the local sex worker, that take sexual desperation to whole new level, as they cling to any form of intimacy they can get! It seems that Barb, the clinic Matriarch, is the only one with a healthy sex life, that often spills into saucy ‘sexts’ at work from her horny husband and a constant case of too-much-information. Sarah wonders if her job is starting to affect her chances at finding love and that, maybe for all of them - it’s hard to stay sexy in sexual health.
