The Screen Guide

THE FORGOTTEN AUSTRALIANS is the story of the 500,000 children who were placed in 'care' in institutional homes in Australia during the last century up until as late as the 1980s. Some children were better off with the care they received, but far more suffered damaging physical, psychological and emotional abuse. The Forgotten Australians is an untold story, told with courage and candour as these child survivors are today finding a voice.
