THE LONGEST RUN follows Pat Farmer an ultra-marathon runner who ran non-stop around Australia over a period of 195 days. Running an average of almost 70 kilometres every day, he endured some of the most difficult conditions Australia had to offer. He ran 14,986 kilometres and broke 11 world and Australian records. Plus, he wore out 14 pairs of shoes.
