Big Girl

Glenda Hambly Producer

Glenda Hambly has worked as a writer, director, script editor and assessor for the past 35 years. Her feature films have garnered three AFI Awards including Best Original Script, an AWG Award for Best Script of the Year and a Best Movie for Television Award at the Banff International Television Festival. She has developed, written and edited for 15 television series and serials, worked as a Script Executive at the AFC and Screen West, assessed for six state and federal film funding agencies and teaches screenwriting at RMIT.

Melanie Scammell Writer / Director

Melanie Scammell is a writer/director based in Melbourne. She completed her BA of Media and Communications in 2010 at RMIT University, and her Masters of Screenwriting at The Victorian College of the Arts (VCA) in 2014. Her work at VCA was awarded with the Australian Writers Guild (AWG) 2014 Master Screenwriting Award. Melanie also works in the domestic violence sector and is passionate about bringing the voices and experiences of marginalised women to the screen.
