Joseph Meldrum joins Screen Australia’s First Nations Department

Screen Australia is pleased to announce that Joseph Meldrum has joined the agency this week in the role of Development and Investment Manager, First Nations, reporting to Head of First Nations Angela Bates.


Joseph is a proud Gangulu man from the Northern Territory who grew up between Arrernte, Warumungu, Jawoyn and Dagoman Country. Joseph has worked in film and television production across Australia and Canada since 2016 and worked for the likes of Discovery Channel, Netflix, HBO and CBC.

Joseph has come to Screen Australia from Screen Queensland where he was the Content Director of the Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Program.
