The Screen Guide

A short autobiographical documentary about growing up with gay parents that challenges the accepted norms by re-imagining the nuclear family as queer. ONLY DIFFERENT will, through a series of interviews and re-inactments, explore the identity of my queer family unit and the choice Amanda Wilson made to come out with the love of her life, Polly. Complimenting the interviews and challenging the accepted norms is a re-imagining of the nuclear families of 1950’s home videos as queer.
