Run Rabbit Run – Behind the Scenes

Director Daina Reid discusses her new psychological thriller, Run Rabbit Run and working with lead star, Sarah Snook.

Having worked with actor Sarah Snook previously on The Secret River, director Daina Reid knew she would relish working with the Succession star again.

“She [Snook] would get everything in one take,” Reid recalls. “I would do other takes just to be polite… She was so extraordinary.”

In this behind-the-scenes video, Reid talks about the pressures new parents can face raising their children, asking her son to help design the pink rabbit mask worn in the film and why horror stories are such a fertile genre of storytelling for female filmmakers.
