Windcatcher – Behind the Scenes

Director Tanith Glynn-Maloney talks about directing her first feature film, Windcatcher.

For her first feature film as director, Tanith Glynn-Maloney worked with both children and animals, however the unpredictable weather was her biggest challenge making the film.

“It was cold and it was raining… it was meant to be the height of summer and some days it was 12 degrees,” reveals Glynn-Maloney.

In this behind-the-scenes video, Glynn-Maloney discusses the casting process to find their charismatic young lead, her transition from short films to a feature and the joy of being one of the first productions to film in the Docklands LED volume studio.
