The most enduring have been the seasonal favourite, Menotti’s Amahl and the Night Visitors, Britten’s Owen Wingrave, Stravinsky’s The Flood and, in Australia, Peter Sculthorpe’s Quiros (written for the 50th anniversary of the ABC in 1982).
