VOD users seek out content on a variety of social media platforms, and male and female VOD users have differing preferences.

YouTube and Facebook dominate viewing, with YouTube more popular with male VOD users and Facebook skewing female. Instagram and Snapchat use for screen content was fairly even across genders, while Twitter and Reddit skewed male.

Female VOD users are more active on social media, and also much more likely to use social media, but not use it to watch professionally produced screen content.
