The Screen Guide

A bittersweet comedy. What might have been a disaster for the Finlay family leads to letting go and finding grace in the glorious chaos of life, as Henry and Anna realise their very talented and very ill teenage daughter Milla has just fallen madly in love with a small time drug dealer, Moses. This romance is Milla’s protective parents’ worst nightmare - but Milla doesn’t want to play it safe anymore. As the lives of the family intertwine with those around them: a sensitive music teacher, a budding child violinist, Moses’ little brother and a disarmingly honest and very pregnant next door neighbour, Milla teaches those in her orbit how to live like they have nothing to lose.
