Adele Chynoweth is a filmmaker, theatre director, curator and researcher. Adele provided research for the documentary films ‘Who Are the Forgotten Australians?’ (2011) and ‘Westbrook’ (2014). In 2020, Chynoweth was admitted as a Fellow of the Higher Education Academy (UK) and also received the Medal of the Order of Australia. Chynoweth is the co-editor and author of several publications including ‘Goodna Girls: a History of Children in a Queensland Mental Asylum’.
