Piri is an award-winning screenwriter, playwright, writer, and producer living and working on Kaurna land. He won best short film at the 54th Annual AWGIE Awards for ‘The Last Elephant on Earth’ (2022). He was a writer and producer for ‘Black Empire’ (SBS/NITV 2022) and experimental short-film ‘Cycles’ (official selection, St Kilda Film Fest 2020).
