Samuel Martin

Sam Martin (He/Him) is a Deaf/Hard of Hearing Queer director with a heart that beats for people and a love of intersectional stories. Whilst studying at AFTRS, he directed his first short film ‘A Style For Every Story’ which was funded under the Sherman Centre for Culture and Ideas and AFTRS. The film was later featured on ABC's ArtWorks series. Post graduation, he was selected as part of Screenability's 2021 program and directed his award-winning documentary ‘Deafying Gravity’, which premiered at SFF and was shown nationally and featured in DocNYC. Sam's upcoming projects includes his short film ‘Bombay To Bondi’.
