Sebastian is a 2nd generation Italian and Dutch immigrant, he balances precariously between the worlds of the colonial settler and foreign outsider, shaped by coming of age in a country in the throes of cultural adolescence. Sebastian has just wrapped principal photography on his debut feature film, crime family drama ‘We Will Never Die’. He has directed over a dozen award-winning shorts and web series episodes in a wide variety of genres including psychological horror, queer erotic thriller, psychedelic road trip, improvised naturalistic drama and sketch comedy. He is currently developing a grounded sci-fi feature with long-time collaborator Jeni Bezuidenhout.
